Confidential. Much like the booze it gets its name from this train packs a punch with a solid 18-23% THC.
Jager is a very attractive strain for any toker due to the look of it’s buds. With large chunky flowers, that resemble pine cones, and densely packed dark green or purple leaves with rusty highlights. The aroma of the bud is equally as strong as it’s name sake, smelling deeply of black licorice. This licorice scent is filled out by a musky/damp dirt compliment of smells. When ground the bud also gives off a slight diesel tone. The smoke is smooth bringing out flavours of tobacco, herbs, and of course a licorice taste that hangs on the palate. The effects of the strain take hold swiftly, often before the taste of licorice has dissipated from the smokers palate. It usually begins with gentle tingling that starts at the base of the neck and works it’s way out to your extremities. Any aches and pains will sooth as the smoker is gently brought down into a deep drowsiness that relaxes both mind and body. It doesn’t however leave you completely comatose which makes it a good strain for relaxing with a book, movie, etc.
Jager is an ideal fit for a quiet evening as the high will evolve and develop into a sleepiness that will have you ready to snooze and wake up the next day refreshed and ready to go. It’s also a good choice to deal with a long list of ailments as the sedative effects, coupled with a slight focus improvement allow you to get things done while soothing your sores. The strain is beginner friendly too due to its Indica dominance but not complete control allowing those less experienced to enjoy the feeling without feeling like they’re losing control.
