Here’s a step-by-step guide on placing your mail order online with Hot Grass:

7. We only accept payments through e-transfer right now, so on the next page you’ll see your order number, and information on how to transfer the payment to us. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully, and input the secret password exactly as it appears. You’ll also be emailed a copy of these instructions.
8. Once we receive your e-transfer, your order status will change to Processing .
9. When we ship your order, your order status will change to Complete. We ship all orders within 2 business days of receiving payment.

To provide a consistent exceptional experience we ship all orders whose payments have been processed before 9 am PST same day. All orders after 9 am PST are shipped out the following business day. We do often process orders made after this cut off time but keeping this cut off in mind helps keep us both from any unnecessary frustrations. We ship through Canada Post XPresspost. Shipping fees for orders under $450 are calculated by Canada Post based on the weight of your order.

We understand that most people require discretion. So, we use generic prepaid Xpress envelopes to package items. We then vacuum seal and bubble wrap the contents for maximum discretion, protection and to seal in the freshness. There is nothing written on the outside of the envelope that would advertise that you are taking medical marijuana so no nosy neighbors would know it is anything other then a regular package from the post office.

No. You cannot directly pick up your order from us. We only accept payments via email money transfer for now.

If you do not get your package 2 days after the expected arrival date, let us know and we will file a trace with Canada Post. If a trace is filed, Canada Post will conduct an investigation (which can take 5 business days to complete). If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you’ll get it a few days later. If it’s deemed “unrecoverable” or lost in transit, we will send you a 1x replacement package up to $500 of the value of your package free of charge. We do not offer postage refunds if your order arrives late due to any postal issues.

Here are 2 likely scenarios:

1. The postal worker put it in the wrong mailbox, or
2. What often happens is that a postal worker will scan in all the packages saying they were “successfully delivered” then spend that day and/or the next day delivering it.

If you’re tracking your package on the Canada Post website and it looks like it’s headed to the wrong city, it’s most likely due to human error at Canada Post. Human errors happen on occasion as the postal employee has to manually enter each postal code in the system and if they are off by a digit/letter, it can cause a routing error and subsequent delay of 1-2 days.

Unfortunately, we experience much higher % of postal thefts when shipping to Northern Quebec and Nunavut. We cannot offer any delivery guarantees if you live in these areas and you will be ordering at your own risk.
